Coronavirus COVID-19: Our position

  • Tuesday, March 17, 2020

The health and safety of our employees, our clients, and their respective families, is of utmost importance to Servelec Controls. We are also acutely aware of our responsibility to our clients, particularly those in critical national infrastructure who need our ongoing support. In light of the current situation around COVID-19, we are putting measures in place which aim to protect both.

Our current position, until we are told otherwise, is that all employees who can work from home will do so. This has been enacted as of Tuesday 17 March. We have stopped all non-essential travel and we are encouraging all employees and clients to use technology to communicate, i.e. by meeting virtually rather than face-to-face.

We currently plan to maintain operations at all our offices, whilst minimising the risk of unnecessary contact. This is so that we can continue to undertake critical roles in safety, operations and manufacturing and continue to provide for our customers when they are likely to need us most.

We would like to reassure all our support contract holders that we are continuing to provide telephone support at the present time and will make fit, healthy engineers available where responses are crucial. We would like to remind our clients on support contracts to use the official landline number provided within their agreement rather than contacting engineers directly so that we can ensure the safest, most efficient service.

We will be continually reviewing our approach based on Government advice and the evolving situation.

How can we help you?
