The Award was presented to ITI’s Head of Business Unit Darren Glover and Sales Director Chris Stones, at a sustainability-themed ceremony held at the British Transport Museum on 16th November 2022. The judges gave special mention to ITI’s engineering team members: their agility, ability to collaborate with all the organisations involved and their ‘can-do’ attitude under pressure.
Suzanne Cunningham, Murphy’s Head of Procurement for the Energy business, said: “It is great to be able to recognise our key supply chain partners for the hard work that goes into delivering our projects. ITI’s award was given in recognition of delivering come-what-may and embracing our Murphy values. ITI was proactive in their approach to dealing with any challenges that arose and worked collaboratively with the wider project delivery team – being very hands-on providing solutions and coordinating efforts between all parties to ensure all targets were completed successfully.”
Following the awards, Darren congratulated his ITI colleagues on the glowing feedback from the client around the continued quality of service they’d consistently delivered throughout and said: “It is testament to the commitment of our people that we’ve impressed this new client under changing and challenging circumstances. This is the first chance we’ve had to be eligible even for a nomination, so to win is a fantastic achievement. It’s really encouraging to have developed such a strong relationship so quickly, and we’re looking forward to many more successful projects with Murphy.”
