ITI’s response to the Government’s 10 Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution

In response to the Government’s 10 Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution, ITI’s CEO Andrew Mills said:

“We don’t have the luxury of time and ITI welcome this policy with open arms.  A green revolution cannot come soon enough, and this plan sets out a series of transitions that will stimulate innovation, create and maintain jobs, helping to rebuild the UK economy whilst ensuring a net zero future.

“The Prime Minister spoke of using ‘the UK’s extraordinary powers of invention’ to ‘transform life as we know it’.  This ethos mirrors our values and our promise to our customers to use innovation to transform and enhance their operations, and a major part of this is helping them to navigate the energy transition.  ITI are poised to leverage our business analytics, robust hardware and smart software to support our customers’ endeavours to reach net zero and provide a sustainable future for our world.”

“We’re pleased to see Carbon Capture Storage (CCS) back on the agenda, as this is a real chance for the oil and gas industry to positively impact the achievement of net zero.  Not only the opportunity to offset carbon emissions but also in the positive repurposing of existing brownfield UKCS assets and infrastructure.  ITI are proud to be involved in two of the UK front running CCS projects in their early stages of development and are excited at the prospect of supporting the initiatives through to realisation.
